The Workshop will feature oral and poster presentations by researchers and experts. The International Committee seeks original papers relating to railway noise and vibration:
- noise sources (wheel/rail noise, aerodynamic noise, structure-borne noise and micro-pressure wave),
- prediction tools and theoretical models,
- measurement methods,
- new noise reduction technologies and ground-borne noise and vibration.
- legal regulations and perception.

Submit a two-page summary in line with Summary preparation guideline using the summary template no later than 25 December 2009 22 January 2010.

Papers will be selected by the International Committee, and authors will be notified by 26 February 2010 as to whether their papers have been accepted for oral or poster presentations.

The selected authors are asked to submit their papers (up to eight pages) in line with Paper preparation guideline using the Paper template no later than 14 June 2010.

After the Workshop, authors will be given the opportunity to submit revised papers for inclusion in a dedicated issue of the Notes of Numerical Fluid Mechanics and Multidisciplinary Design (Springer).
All papers will be subject to the Notes' rigorous refereeing. |
