Commuter's Train Choice Behavior from View Point of Stated Preference Survey Data

To improve the railway transportation services in the commuting time, it is important to grasp commuter's intention and their behaviors. Stated preferences of train and vehicle in commuting to office or to school and surveyed by questionnaire. In this paper, we describe main results of this survey by applying cross classification and attempt to identify behavioral characteristics of commuters' preference to train and vehicle.
