The corrosion of reinforcing bars caused by the neutralization of concrete will have a harmful effect on reinforced concrete structures. To design railway structures, it is important to understand the characteristics of this phenomenon. Therefore, the investigation of the neutralization of concrete on railway RC rigid frame viaducts was carried out. This paper describes the relation between the neutralization and the corrosion of reinforcing bars, the difference of the speed of neutralization in different environments, and the difference between calculated and measured values of the depth of neutralization.
