 The large-scale low-noise Wind Tunnel (Maibara Wind Tunnel), RTRI, acquired an ISO 9001 certificate in 2003 September, to provide customers with high-quality wind tunnel test services.

The Maibara Wind Tunnel Center has a manual that prescribes wind test procedures from the consultation with customers to the implementation of tests.
The Center ensures smooth test services, extends technical support to customers for the operation of the Wind Tunnel, maintains the stability and high-level performance of the facilities and improve the convenience to use the test equipment.
To respond to customer needs as far as possible, the Center makes ceaseless efforts to improve the technologies of the staff and the quality management system so that customers can attain success in research and development.

Quality policy
We shall obey laws in relation to wind tunnel test service and practice a coutinuing improvement to provide high-quality wind tunnel test service,because we aim to provide customers with high-quality wind tunnel test service and to improve the customer satistaction measurement for the result of wind tunnel test.
SCOPE
Provision of technical testing services including technical supports and operation of test facilities "Large-Scale Low-Noise Wind tunnel" for the purposes of studying aeroacoustic and aerodynamic phenomena.
