< Information & Registration Desk >
The Information & Registration desk is located at the front of the Main Entrance of the RTRI Main Building (Map 2). All participants upon first visit to the Congress Venue should register here. This desk will assist you with any general questions you may have and/or refer you to other locations or personnel if necessary.

< Travel Desk >
Located on the 1st Floor (ground floor) of the RTRI Main Building (Map 2), this desk will assist you with any questions about access and transportation to and from the Congress Venue (and downtown/airport areas), and about the Technical Visits, and tours for accompanying persons.

< Dining Square / Resting Lounge >
The Dining Square is a tent-covered area with tables and chairs to be used for the Congress Lunches, Coffee Breaks, and Welcome Reception, with food and bevarages to be served in the adjacent Dining Room. Other than the times of these activities, the Dining Square will remain open to all participants as a resting lounge with a vending machine for beverages near the entrance (east side) of the Dining Room (Map 2), which accepts coins of 10, 50, 100, and 500 yen, and bills of 1000 yen.

< Tea Room (Coffee Shop) at the Congress Venue >
The Tea Room is open to all participants for refreshments, with a pay-per-item menu (charges not included in the registration fee). It is located on the 1st Floor (ground floor) of the RTRI Main Building (Map 2).

< Restrooms (WC) at the Congress Venue >
Public restrooms are at several locations (Maps 2 to 5). The toilets are equipped with spray washlets (please ask at the Registration desk in case of problems). There are three special WC restrooms for persons such as those using wheelchairs (Map 2, 4, & 5).

< Public Pay Telephones at the Congress Venue >
There public pay telephones at several locations (Maps 1, 2, & 4). These telephones accept Japanese coins of 10 yen and 100 yen denominations. However, for long calls and international calls, it is recommended that you purchase a telephone card. There are two types of telephone cards, one type for calls within Japan, and another type for international calls, both of which can be purchased at the Kiosk of the Tea Room (Map 2) in the Main Building of RTRI and at convenience stores outside of RTRI. Both types are prepaid cards, meaning you pay for the entire amount of the card at a set price, and the telephones subtract amounts from the prepaid cards with each call. There will be no refunds for any unused portion of these telephone cards.

< Smoking Areas >
Smoking is permitted only in the areas marked by signs. Smoking areas include designated portions of the Tea Room and Dining Square of RTRI, and the lobby of the 1st Floor (ground floor) of Hikari Plaza (Maps 1, 2, & 4).

< Computer Room >
Computers and printers are provided here to view and print papers from the CD-ROM Proceedings of the Congress. Internet services are also provided on the computers here (Map 2).

< Baggage Room >
The Baggage Room is reserved strictly for large/oversized baggage only. For smaller items, please use the Lockers (Map 2).

< First Aid >
The medical staff will provide first aid in this room for people experiencing any discomfort, illnesses, and/or injuries (Map 2).

< Press Room >
This room is reserved for press-related activities, and is restricted to authorized journalists, reporters, and other personnel related to the press and mass media (Map 2).
