As software products are becoming larger and more complex, more attention is payed
on how to analyze and design the software more efficiently, and how to reuse the
software products developed so far more intensively. Thus, a number of such methods
have been proposed until now. This article presents an overview of the recent trend
of software analysis and design methods, including Structural analysis/design, Data
Flow Diagram, Entity-Relationship model, Object Oriented Analysis/Design and Domain
Analysis/Modeling.
