A study of Deformation Characteristics of Railroad Ballast by Triaxial Compression Test

In order to elucidate cyclic deformation characteristics of railroad ballast and the relation between that and texture, a cyclec triaxial compression test of crushed stones was performed using similar intextures. This report presents results of the test and several findings from an analysis of the results.
