Facility Management System Using Facility Description Language
Minoru NAGATA, Mikio TANAKA
Railway facilities consist of structures, trolley wire, tracks, signals, communications, etc. and
managements of these facilities used to be done by office workers help of many tables and diagrams.
However, in the last few years, some railway companies have begun to adopt a new facility management
system for the sake of better efficiency and higher profit. At present we see some problems in the
new facility management system. We propose in this report to improve the systems by using a facility
description language.
