Experiment of the Magnetically Levitated Transportation System and the Evaluation

The magnetically levitated transportation system using superconducting magnets is going to be experimented in Yamanashi test line next spring. In this test line, various technical components and systems have to be evaluated for the future practical use regarding performance, safety, reliability, cost and so on. The paper generally discusses these technical subjects.
