Experimental Study on Shear Reinforcement of Reinforced Concrete Footings

In order to work out an effective shear reinforcement method for reinforced
concrete footings, experimental studies have been conducted using specimens of
reinforced concrete beams and footings which are shear-reinforced with stirrups.
In this report a method of calculating the shear strength of such footings
is proposed, based on the results of studies.
