Characteristics of Bearing Capacity of Foundations Supporting service Bridges

Temporary service bridges are generally executed for constructing cross structures
(road, waterway, e.t.c) under railway track. As characteristics of bearing capacity
of foundations (cast-in-piles, shallow foundations, e.t.c.) supporting thease service
bridges are not known enough, slowdown of train speed is invaliably necessary.
But demand of speed-up is more grown strong, so characteristics of bearing capacity
of foundations should be more seriously studied. Then characteristics of bearing capacity
of foundations were measured at a site and data for design of foundations were collected.
This paper describes these test results.
