Recently, electrical equipment with a high speed micro processor that is highly sensitive to radio noise and various radio equipment(e.g.mobile cellular telecommunication systems, private mobile radio, public land mobile netowork, etc.)are coming into wide use. Therefore, standard limits and measuring method for undesired radio wave are discussed internationally.Countermeasure for radio noise disturbing the equipment has been an important matter.Radio interferences from electric traction systems are discussed by CISPR(International Special Committee on Radio Interference),and a draft of standardized CISPR document is being draw up.IN this paper, discussions on radio interference from electric traction systems in CISPR are outlined and international future trends are descrived.
