Strong winds have been watched by numerous anemometers along railway. When a wind velocity exceeds the limit, trains stop. The aim of wind regulation is to prevent trains running under strong wind from overturning. In wayside areas, winds are blowing incessantly with fluctuating velocities in space and time. After wind observations at three points we grasped some characteristics in correlation of winds at two points in terms of distance as well as time. The wind correlation coefficient is available for precise estimation of wind velocity from a remote point.
