Hashimoto Step Test count indicates the Index of Physical Capacity (IPC). IPC score is a total sum of the counts for 10 items of cardiovascular functions correlating with maximum oxygen intake (VO2 max). The total sum will amount to 100 possible points. The physical fitness of 242 males was evaluated by Hashimoto Step Test. They were mostly desk workers, 155 of them made Exercise Group (EG) and the rest did Non-Exercise Group (NEG). In NEG, IPC decreased gradually from young to old. And lighter weight produced higher scores than heavier weight. In EG, IPC had no relation to age or weight.
