Recently we have proposed a newly estimating method for the track irregularity growth of ballasted track. This method has several features: (1) Using the calculation model of ballast sinking which grows non-linearly against loading pressure and (2) ability to estimate the track irregularity growth under transportation and track structure conditions closer. In this paper, using the track irregularity inspection data of JR high-speed line with narrow-gauge, we have confirmed that the standard deviation in a 100m lot of longitudinal irregularity of 10m-chord, versine is adequate for evaluating index of track irregularity growth, and in comparison with measured values and calculated values we have confirmed that the newly estimating method is proper.
