Development of Anti-slip Readhesion Control Method Presuming Adhesion Force

Akihiro YAMANAKA, Tomoki WATANABE

As trains enhance speed and reduce motor vehicle ratio recently, it is needed to utilize adhesion force more effectively. We have developed several anti-slip readhesion control methods, but it became clear that slip/readhesion reiterates under strict adhesion conditions when a conventional slip/readhesion control method is used. So we have developed a new control method "Anti-slip Readhesion Control Method Presuming Adhesion Force". In running tests, we confirmed we can prevent slip/readhesion reiteration and stably control motor currents even under strict adhesion conditions or rapidly variable adhesion conditions by using the newly developed control method.
