Natural Disaster Detection and Prediction System "SATelLiTe"

The development of Sensing Around Tele-Link Terminal (SATelLiTe) started six years ago. This system supports UrEDAS that can transmit environmental data through public lines. SATelLiTe has 13 stations in this country. SATelLiTe measures conditions of embankments, piers, retaining walls and weather, and detects falling rocks. This paper reports the relationship between measurement data and dangerous changes in the conditions of structures.
