Extensive studies and developments have been conducted since 1970 on a magnetically levitated train system (Maglev). The authors have proposed and developed a guideway structure. Over 60 test runs have carried out to obtain the dynamic response of guideway structures for the ultra-high speed operation of Maglev vehicles. Test data were compared with those obtained through analysis.
