A Cyclic Loading Test on Reinforced Concrete Rigid Frame Pier with Steel Brace and Damper Link

A cyclic loading test was conducted on scale-modeled reinforced concrete rigid frame piers which have steel brace and damper link members. High transverse rigidity and high energy dissipation ability and observed with the brace and damper link members. It was also found that the superposition of capacity of RC frame and that of brace is adequate to predict the total capacity of RC frame with brace and damper link members.
