Effects of Mortar Being Involved Recycled Coarse Aggregate on Concrete Properties

Koji TSURUTA, Takahiko SASAKI

In this study, we examine that characteristics of recycled coarse aggregate and fresh characteristics of concrete using recycled coarse aggregate is influenced of a type of aggregate, quality and quantity of mortal. Concrete using recycled river stone is not more fluid than concrete using natural river stone, so it needs to add water making recycled concrete whose fluidity is equaled to concrete using natural river stone. Increasing of mortal included recycled crushed stone cause to increase fluidity of recycled concrete, so it is possible to reduce water making recycled concrete whose fluidity is equaled to concrete using natural crushed stone.
