It is important to prevent the buckling of continuous welded rail tracks. Dynamic factors when a train passes influence the track buckling. The track uplift is one of those factors. When the track uplift occurs, the lateral resistance of track is expected to decrease. To establish a method to evaluate track buckling precisely, it is required to clarify the effect of the factor. We measured track lateral resistance when the track uplift occurred and track was loaded. We developed a program to calculate the buckling temperature for dynamic buckling. An analysis was carried out for several conditions to clarify the effect of uplift.
