Although computer systems developed to assist dispatchers in making train rescheduling plans are being used for practical purposes, there still remain a lot of problems especially with regard to the assistance of collaborative work. Since collaborative work among various categories of experts such as train dispatchers is indispensable during the course of train rescheduling, a computer system which makes it possible to quickly exchange and transmit the information concerning the train rescheduling plans is longed for. We have experimentally implemented a computer system based on the standardized web technology with which dispatchers can collaboratively make train rescheduling plans and transmit the plans to depots and stations. Through the development of the system, we have clarified several issues to be settled in the future.
