A Study on the Application of Data Mining Technology to Railway Systems

  Due to the development of information technology and rapid introduction of information systems in recent years, an enormous volume of data has been accumulated in various fields of railway industry. However, analysis or advanced utilization of the data has not been performed so far. This paper describes a study on the application of data mining technology to the analysis of maintenance / repair data.
