Behavior of Newly Developed Floating Ladder Track Bridging Structure Boundaries Subjected to Temperature Changes

Kiyoshi ASANUMA, Nobuyuki MATSUMOTO, Hajime WAKUI

The floating ladder track, which is composed of high-rigidity combined rails supported by vibration-cut devices with a low spring constant, can restraint rail bending and track buckling when it is used to bridge structure boundaries. So, the floating ladder track contributes to strengthening track structures effectively. This paper reports an numerical study on the behavior of floating ladder track at structure boundaries subjected to temperature changes.
