High strength is required for piles because of the revision of the seismic design after the Hyougo-ken Nanbu earthquake. It is thought that the application of high strength concrete effectively serves this purpose. In order to apply high strength concrete, however it is required to clarify the condition to construct cast-in-place concrete piles. In this study, relation between the condition to construct cast-in-place concrete piles and this strength was examined by using the results of experiments on a cast-in-place high strength concrete pile model.
