The Steel Pipe and Soil Cement Composite Pile method is used to construct hybrid piles which are composed of two parts. One is the soil consolidated by grouting and agitating the cement milk in the ground, and the other is the steel pipe with protuberances on the outside and/or inside surfaces. This paper introduces two analytical studies. One is to model the subgrade resistance of the piles based on the data of loading tests, and the other to conduct numerical simulation of the vertical loading tests by using the proposed model of subgrade resistance.
