This paper introduces a measuring device to obtain noise source distributions in wind tunnel tests, which consists of an ellipsoidal reflector and an array of microphones. This device has an advantage of much shorter measuring time than the former one which consists of the same reflector and a single microphone. Its characteristics are verified theoretically and experimentally and proved to be almost the same as those of the former one in spite of the shorter measuring time. The device is available not only for wind tunnel test but also for field tests.
