Osamu WAKATSUKI,  Noritsugi ABE,  Akinori MIYAZAKI

Since the rail fastening device used for bridge sleeper sections of Tokaido Shinkansen and narrow-gauge lines don't have the function to adjust the alignment of rail, it it corrected by striking new screw spikes. The unnecessary screw spike hole resulted from this work makes a factor to deteriorate bridge sleepers. To solve this problem a rail adjustable type fastener was developed to install a lateral force receiver with stud bolts, in order to adjust irregularities of longitudinal level and alignment.
