For effective and economical track maintenance, it is essential to predict the vibration of rolling stock due to track irregularities. In this study, we applied a statistical model to identify the dynamic response characteristics and predicted vertical vibration of rolling stock. As a result, we found that it was possible to predict vertical vibration at an equation of a lower dimension at higher accuracy by the method than by the Faster Fourier Transform method. By applying the model, we can estimate vertical vibration of rolling stock and predict is when the train velocity increases.
