When we consider the desirable services for station users, we need to make clear the area that each station user recognizes as belonging to the station first, and then discuss the services required in this area. However, the method to investigate the spatial recognition has not been established yet. Therefore, we have first clarified the factors that influence the recognition as the station area through an analysis to combine the results of a usual questionnaire survey and those of drawing method. We have also performed quantitative assessment of desirable services in the area.
