This research aims at analyzing the process to acquire speed control skill in operating a train-driving simulator. Six male subjects, aged 30 to 54, who didn't have the train-driving license participated in a three-day rehearsal of simulator operation after they studied rules specific to train signal operating systems and a train-operating systems fro two days. The authors analyzed the driving performance curve of each subject. The result represented that their curves finally matched the standard ones that were decided effectively both in the characteristics of each train and traits of curve, gradients and the distance between each two adjacent stations.
