Development of Ride Comfort Analyzer

Hiroaki SHIROTO,  Yoshio AKIYAMA,  Kazuyuki SHIMOZAWA

A great deal of manpower is required to manually analyze the data on acceleration and other physical quantities obtained from test runs. In addition, engineers who are qualified for such data analysis are limited, since the work requires profound knowledge and experience. Under the circumstances, it is required to develop a system that enables even non-skilled engineers to quickly and efficiently analyze data at high accuracy without relying on skilled engineers. For this purpose, therefore, we have developed an automatic ride comfort analyzer which is widely applicable to digital data analysis. It improves the efficiency of ride comfort analysis, unifies data processing methods and eliminates data variation among different persons.
