It is known that the natural frequency of bridge pier tends to decrease as the penetration depth decreases due to scouring. In this paper, the relationship between the changes in the vibration property and the stability of bridge pier is clarified. In the vibration of bridge piers, large degrees of response are seen with long-period components. It is also shown that the track of vertical motion obtained by microtremor measurement is strongly related to the stability of bridge foundation.
