We have developed a system to analyze results of train rescheduling. We use this system to extract phenomena that would occur when trains don't run as dispatchers intend. By analyzing the extracted results, we can recognize whether these phenomena cannot be avoided by any means or whether introduction of enhanced train operating systems would prevent these phenomena. We can also simulate train operation assuming that the train rescheduling implemented is different from the actual one. This function makes it possible to evaluate how much improvement in train rescheduling can be achieved if unintended phenomena are avoided.
