We developed a method to verify an effective range and its effect for
noise abatement within train vehicles by comparisons of changes in the noise
level as measured under the following tests. First, by providing a speaker that
generate penetrative sounds from an exterior of a vehicle, and with a vibration
exciter generating solid bo‚’ne sound of the vehicle both of which adversely
affect the vehicle deck.
Second, floors, sides and ceilings of the vehicle deck all of which become a route of noise provided with insulation materials to reduce the noise level.
