In this report, we proposed a simple analytic model for masonry walls, and applied this analytic model to deformation behaviors as obtained from results of shaking table tests with models, and verified that validity. Furthermore, we discussed the applicability of this method concerning a case of quakeproof reinforcement works. An analytical result corresponded to a result of an experiment well, therefore this method is possible sufficiently applicable to quakeproof design of masonry walls. Hereafter, we will perform an in-depth study to enable this model applicable to quakeproof design of real masonry walls.
