Nobuyuki FUKAZAWA,  Hajime AKATSUKA,  Keiko KIOKA

In a hearing survey in train operation workplaces, it is pointed out that with respect to foremen, they don't know an educational technique and, with respect to train drivers, that they have a lack of communications. An aim of this research is to examine effectiveness of the educational program that has been newly developed this time. The program consists of "listening training" for foremen and "risk perception training" for train drivers. An action research has been carried out in two train depots of a railway company. The result of the comparison of a pre-survey and a post-survey has suggested that the program has contributed to improvement for relationship between foremen and train drivers.
