Influence of Alkali Aggregate Reaction on Shear Strength of RC Deep Beams

  @In this study, we prepared RC deep beams deteriorated by alkali aggregate reaction promoted under high temperature and wet curing. In addition, we examined the influence of the alkali aggregate reaction on deterioration of concrete and break of stirrups at the corner that affected the shear strength of RC deep beams. As a result, in the range of this experiment, the shear strength of RC deep beams was slightly affected by the reaction, however destruction became more brittle.
