The authors examined the degree of influence on the existing shallow foundation and pile foundation by load tests with use of the foundation model and also by numerical value analyses, when a cast-in-place pile was built in proximity to them. As a result, we grasped a change of a bearing capacity characteristic of the existing structures with consideration on the slack of their neighboring ground when a cast-in-place pile was constructed in the neighborhood. In addition, we confirmed that evaluation of influence on the neighboring structure could be made by simple analytical method, with enough precision. Accordingly it was suggested that it was possible to ensure construction management easily.
