Extremely low noise performance (Measured background sound level: 75 dB – 300 km/h)

  • Highest wind speed of any large-scale low noise wind tunnel in Japan (max. wind speed: 400 km/h)
  • Equipped with a high speed moving ground plane to simulate actual ground moving with high precision.
  • Open type test section: (width) 3 m x (height) 2.5 m x (length) 8 m
  • Closed type test section: (width) 5 m x (height) 3 m x (length) 20 m
